so yeah. thread about my first muse concert, last night, call it 13.12 in duesseldorf. ;D
oh my i just have to say before i start telling you all the unimportant stuff you actually don't want to know ^^ ... it was just too awesome. so worth the expensive ticket (36 €) and going 1 1/2 hours by train and being totally tired today in school even though i had philosophy exam.
um yeah. you know, show started at 20.00 but we already took a train at 15.13 as we wanted to be there early enough to get in the first rows, even though everybody told us that this would be ridiculous but when we arrived at the philipshalle in duesseldorf, must have been about 17.00 then, there were already many many people waiting in the queue .... which kinda surprised me as i always thought there are only few german muse fans....o.o
the funniest thing was, this guy in fashionable rapper-style coming to us when we were waiting asking: hey, can you tell me what's up here tonight? ... us: muse concert! .. and his facial expression went like what the f...? .. ... XD so funny.
well after 3 hours of waiting, boredom and the unsuccesful attempt of my friend to play card games with his split personality finally that weirdo support band *the noisettes* came on stage. they played for like 40 minutes, and while listening to them live i thought that they were better than i had expected, but now compared to muse they seem pretty poor XD ... anyway i was glad when they annouced their last song coz i was kinda getting mad from my thoughts always repeating: heyyy you're going to see muse! finally you're going to see muse, oh my god, they'll be right in front of you like 5 m away, waaah XD ....
... and they did! at about 21.10 they started playing. first song was map of the problematique what really surprised me but hell, it freaking rawked. and the atmosphere was too awesome as well, all people jumping, dancing & singing along (quite bad, but luckily matt's singing was louder XD) ... ok i think i don't have to tell ya all about the songs they played, they were all so brilliant, what a great show, all the lighting effetcs and the screens (matt's hands in close-up-shot while playing the piano on butterflies& hurricanes and new born! omg! *love*) ... woa.
oh btw they had *Bliss* on the playlist as well, you know that's the song my username is from and someone already uploaded a short video ... here you go
um i don't know what to say more, i'm so happy, still jumping XD so.
cheers! ;D
